“This brilliant pop-up dance experience has been whizzing around the capital for the last month or so, creating a series of improvised (and filmed) one-off dance pieces. At each site (including Old Spitalfields Market, Leicester Square and Brixton Market) pro dancer Tim Casson has roped in various members of the public to choreograph his routines; this Southbank event is the final on-site session in the 20-strong series. It all culminates on 20 July (7:30pm) at Rich Mix as part of Free to Fall where Casson will perform an extended dance solo combining all 20 dance segments, in the process setting a new world record for the largest number of choreographers contributing to a single dance work.”
