“Whether or not you managed to snap up a ticket to the Stone Roses reunion gigs at Heaton Park during the 14 minutes they were available, now seems like a good time to remember what all the fuss was about first time around and rekindle the spirit of Manchester circa 1989. Curated by Dave Brolan, this exhibition at Whiteley's features the work of photojournalists Ian Tilton, Kevin Cummins and Paul Slattery, showing Brown, Squire, Reni and Mani in those distant days of youth and innocence.”
Legendary music photographers, Kevin Cummins, Paul Slattery and Ian Tilton, collaborate for the first time in an extraordinary exhibition of photography and memorabilia to celebrate the generation-defining ‘Madchester’ band, the Stone Roses.
